Oh no! I just heard gunshots and my town is having a battle. I got away although I’m in the middle of the desert. This is the scariest moment of my life and I don’t know what will happen next. I have no food, water, or anything to stay clean with. I escaped with a random person I don’t even know and my whole journey will be with them. We are running as fast as our legs will go and staying low so people don’t see us on this mountaintop. Will I survive this battle or fall short?

Hi, I’m Melody and over these past few years I’ve been training for a big dance competition. If I win, I get to be on TV and I get $500! I’m so nervous, you would never understand! Finally, it’s my turn! I can get this over with. This better be the best performance of my life. Oh no. I just forgot part of my dance. Nobody’s dance was perfect so I may have a chance. Time to head on stage. And the winner is…Lilly! This was supposed to be my chance and I just blew it out of the water.

Hello there I’m Sically. I live in Louisiana but I’m not the normal type. I like taking walks in the woods and exploring 24/7. If I could live anywhere I would go straight to the woods. Today I’ll take you with me. I always bring a water and a sandwich. I think I found something…What’s this? I think it’s a key. There’s a door too! This is weird. I’m in the middle of the woods. I want to explore but what if I don’t come back. What’s if this isn’t the right key? I guess I’ll see what this leads to.

New York City is amazing! This is my first time here and I love it. I’m extremely excited to see what this trip has in store for me. This morning I went on a jog in the park. It was gorgeous. It is getting close to Autumn and the leaves are turning yellow,red, and orange. After my jog I got in a taxi to go to my hotel. I was breathing heavy and I had to catch my breath. When I got back to my hotel I went to a waterfall. This trip is going to be amazing!

“Hi my name is Junior and this is going to be the best! The ball just dropped and today was the absolute best! I got new friends, clothes, shoes, and school supplies to start off 2022. Last year I was in elementary school and I used the same school supplies for two years in a row. *Phone rings* “Hello?” This is Jamestown school district calling to tell you that we wish you a New Year. To start this New Year we have a big surprise. No More Mandatory Mask.” “You heard that right?” Junior said. “Finally NO MORE MASK!”

One Wish

My 2021 year went extremely fast! I’ve had amazing memories, activities, and I’ve made a lot of new friends! Although this year has been great there has been downs to this year. One thing I would wish for is better health on one of my relatives. She struggles with breathing and all of her organs are on the wrong side. To top that she’s only 5! When she gets sick she’s almost always in the hospital. Her heart is on the wrong side which is absolutely crazy! If I had one wish I would help her in any way I can! Picture
Transportation- 100 word challenge

Transportation helps people in many ways. My favorite way of transportation is plane, car, or train/subway. Planes are a great way to get to a place fast. Planes are also less accidental. I think a car is a good way to travel because some cars go faster and some hold more gas. Flexibility is one of the biggest pros of travelling by car. You can stop as much as you like, drive at your own pace, and simply enjoy the freedom of your trip! If there was transportation it would be hard to get where you need to be. 
Journey Through My School

Hey! I go to McDowell Middle School, which is in the district of Logan Elm. Logan Elm has been around for many years. We have 3 elementary schools, one intermediate school, 1 middle school, and 1 high school. Right now we are building a whole new school on campus. It’s going to be huge and every Logan Elm student will be together. It is very cool to see progress every day.
In the morning I wake up at 6:15 and the school day starts at 7:55. School ends at 2:31 and after it ends I go to any sports practice.
Right now I am in the season of basketball. Last season I played volleyball. In the spring I will play softball.
I have advanced math 1st period. Guided study (where you can do your homework and study for a test) 2nd period. Advanced language arts 3rd period, then I go to lunch and AE. AE is like guided study but everybody has AE unless they do band. AE stands for academic enrichment. After my AE I go to 5th period and I have art. 5th period for everybody is an hour long, the rest of the classes are about 50 minutes. My 6th period class is social studies and my 7th is science.
This year is my first year in 7th grade and I got on the student council. Student council makes some decisions for our school. Every first Tuesday of the month we have a meeting before school and discuss things about our school. Meetings start at 7:30 and end after our bell rings.
My school is very fun! I love the activities they do, the way they teach, and how nice everybody is.
